Absolutely. The dressy part of her tailcoat covers her abdomen, as well. Spider troops are basically a combination infantry-cavalry unit.

I'm hoping my Catherine series can help make people feel at least a little less uncomfortable around spiders in the future. They're actually pretty awesome creatures (And some of them are mega-cute!)
I was very pleased with her naval officer's coat, I'd be happy to have one for myself as well, ha ha.
